Arrowpoint Realty, Inc. was established by Michael Novotny and Phillip Denaro in April, 1985 as a Phoenix-based, full-service real estate company, for the purpose of marketing a new subdivision on Arrowhead Ranch, in nearby Glendale.
Michael bought out partner Phil within the first year, and changed the focus of the new company with an especial emphasis on services for investor-clients, such as 1099 exchanges, leasing and property management. Still within the first year of operation, the company moved to Scottsdale and has been there ever since.
In 1989, Arrowpoint merged with Chuck Lesser Associates and operated under the Arrowpoint name through 1991, when Chuck Lesser and his son, Dan, decided to resume their real estate practice under the name Lesser Associates. Chuck passed away recently, and Lesser Associates continues with Larry Lesser joining with brother Dan to carry on the family business.
In 1989 Michael Novotny, along with new partner Chuck Lesser, and other local brokers joined together to establish what would ultimately become the Residential Leasing and Property Managers Committee at the Scottsdale Association of REALTORS®. Michael would go on to produce and host a number of specialized educational programs presented by the Committee, on topics specific to the residential property management segment of the real estate industry.
At the turn of the century, Arrowpoint Realty, Inc. moved from its Miller Road - Downtown Scottsdale address to its current location on McCormick Ranch. Within minutes of the new 101 loop, it is now easy to reach virutally anywhere in the Valley within a reasonable drive time, and Arrowpoint has begun to extend the geographical boundaries of its operations.
Michael Novotny continues as founder and Chief Executive Officer of Arrowpoint Realty, Inc. and also our sister company, Property Services Dispatch, Inc.
Additionally, he has also served 9 years on the Board of Directors of The Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS®, including terms as Treasurer, Vice President, President-Elect, 2003 President, and 2004 Immediate Past President. Michael is currently sits on the Board of Directors of the 33,000 subscriber Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service (ARMLS). |
